Coronation Street star Ben Price has voiced his support for CAFOD's ethical Christmas World Gifts range, which raises money for families living in poverty in countries including Guatemala, Uganda and Bangladesh.

Price, a CAFOD ambassador, said 'When you buy a World Gift, you know it will be loved. I witnessed this in Uganda where I met people who had received CAFOD's bee-keeping World Gifts starter kits. They were able to sell the honey they harvested at market to earn a living. World Gifts make a serious difference to the lives of communities living in extreme poverty. That's money well spent on presents that won't be thrown in the bin or forgotten by New Year'.
